The high-power load box is mainly composed of resistance/inductance integrated load cabinet, electrical control part and monitoring and control system etc.. It can perform functional tests of transient-state, steady-state and harmonic analysis, fluctuation, sudden loading and sudden de-loading of marine/land generator units, and display all parameters and waveform curves of the generator unit in real time. The loading and de-loading can be made with minimum load of 0.01KW/0.01KVA, and the whole test process can either be completed through manual operation or through automatic operation of the computer.
The resistant load uses novel alloy resistor, which has high reliability and can work continuously for long time. The resistor is thermally shrank, sealed and installed in stainless steel tube. The steel tube has isolative radiation fin externally, is moisture proof, anticorrosive, safe and reliable, and has good radiation capacity.
The load cabinet applies standard container type design, has sunshade, rain proof and anti-corrosion functions, besides, it occupies little area, is easy to move and is applicable for outdoor application.
It has multiple protection functions of automatic protection for superheat temperature, automatic de-loading in case of fan fault, short-circuit protection, over-voltage protection and over-current protection etc..
